Tiviz developed for BNL BNP Paribas an interactive augmented reality experience on cybersecurity, integrated in the YouAR BNL web app. The initiative was created with the aim of raising awareness among the public – both customers and employees – about digital risks through an accessible and engaging language.

By accessing the web app via QR code, available on one of the six personalized totems created for the specific occasion, users are guided by a specially designed AR “character” inside a virtual environment integrated with the real world. The character presents a series of interactive multiple-choice quizzes on key cybersecurity topics: phishing, password management, device protection, and online privacy.

At the end of the quiz, the experience adapts to the result: in case of correct answers, the “character” congratulates the user and redirects them to BNL’s dedicated cybersecurity webpage; in case of mistakes, the user is invited to repeat the path and improve their knowledge on the subject.

The experience is accessible via smartphone and tablet, directly through the browser, with no installation required.

The project included the design of the user experience, the creation of the virtual character, the production of animated content, optimization for the AR WebApp, and the development of the totem graphics. The initiative is part of BNL’s plan to promote digital culture in an innovative, educational, and immediate way.

In addition to developing the AR digital experiences, Tiviz also designed the graphics of the physical totems, each focused on 6 different themes, serving as the starting point for the experiences.
