Since October 2021, Tiviz, in the exercise of its economic activities, has chosen to pursue specific objectives of Common Benefit, understood as “one or more positive effects, or the reduction of negative effects, on one or more categories of stakeholders” (Art. 2, paragraph 1, Decree-Law 1882 of April 17, 2015 (Italy), on “Società Benefit”).

This means that Tiviz creates value within the scope of its core business, in the activities on which it is founded and does not merely “add” actions to its business that have a positive impact on people and the environment.

Tiviz joined the UN Global Compact in 2022 to participate in the acceleration and growth in the implementation of increasingly responsible and sustainable practices, focusing on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors.

These initiatives are redefining how businesses operate by:

  1. Tackling poverty and inequality by creating job opportunities that ensure fair wages and support local economies, especially in developing regions;
  2. Promoting education by investing in education, offering scholarships, funding schools, and supporting vocational training;
  3. Supporting healthcare initiatives by investing in health through research, healthcare services, and public health programs;
  4. Promoting peace and stability: Companies operating in conflict-sensitive areas can focus on conflict resolution, peacebuilding or ensuring that their operations do not contribute to social unrest. This can also include promoting human rights and committing to reducing discrimination and inequalities.

In 2024, Tiviz adhered to the “Businesses for People and Society” Manifesto, promoted by the Italian UN Global Compact Network, renewing its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and the well-being of employees and the community in which it operates.

To contribute to the protection of the environment, biodiversity and collective well-being, Tiviz has been collaborating with Mosaico Verde (https://www.mosaicoverde.it/) since 2021 for the purchase of trees to reclassify green areas. Each tree is gifted to every employee and collaborator on their birthday.

Mosaico Verde is a national campaign by Azzero CO2 and LEGAMBIENTE for the reforestation of green areas, the restoration of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, and environmental regeneration, involving Companies and Public Entities with the goal of restoring value to the territory and fighting climate change.

Since 2021, Tiviz has planted 120 trees, with an estimated total CO2 absorption of approximately 5,600 kg — based on an estimated absorption of 350 kg of CO2 per tree over its life cycle (about 30 years).
